Bektashism and the Greek orthodox population had built up manifold contacts since the settlement and islamisation of Asia Minor. in this article the author analyzes how the reasons for similarity and the contact of the two traditions might lie in an inner relation on a mystic level. Therefore he compares the Bektashi mistisism and the Greek orthodox Christianity in four categories in order to detect many parallels which certify that the systems of both traditions are comparable at least in their main features and might be the reason for an intensive approach and overcoming of dogmatic obstacles.
